On October 8th, Center for Marine Conservation had the pleasure of hosting Archipelagic and Island States (AIS) Youth Conference, 30 participants from all over the globe came to the Center at which they held a series of activities, from going around the Center with the facilitators, having a nice lunch, to having a productive discussion with other participants. This activity was a collaborative program between Coral Triangle Center and United Nations Development Programme, Coral Triangle Center supported their side program of the first AIS Forum at Bali from 5th until 12th of October.
The participants were triumphant and excited when the facilitators took them around the Center, many raised questions regarding the Exhibition Halls, marine life, and even about Coral Triangle Center. Center Team was assisted by Eureka Amadea, the staff of Task Force Coral Restoration Team, to answer the questions participants had relating to coral restoration.Â
We thank UNDP and Archipelagic and Island States Forum for bringing the wonderful participants to our Center and encouraging them to dive deeper into many ways of saving the oceans!
