To effectively tackle the numerous challenges facing marine and coastal champions, it is essential to communicate.
At CTC, we have brought together practitioners from across the Coral Triangle through three key learning networks, creating avenues for communication across organizations and national borders.
Join us in our effort to keep our conservation champions connected!
CTC and the Coral Web
The future of the Coral Triangle rests on the work of thousands of exceptional, dedicated, and hard-working people across the region’s six countries. These conservation champions face a range of challenges in their work, often operating in isolated wildernesses throughout this vast area. There is a risk that their efforts are fragmented and scattered. Communication between organizations and across country boundaries is of vital importance.
Extraordinary results are achieved when problems are discussed and solutions are created, applied, and tested collectively.
At CTC, we know that keeping people connected is crucial to preserving the marine environment for the future. Since 2010, we have supported learning and communication through three main networks:
The MPA-Learning Network
for sharing MPA knowledge and best practices within the Coral Triangle and beyond.
