CTC is proud to present the OceanX Portal, an immersive educational exhibit that brings the ocean to life through 360-degree visuals and surround sound. Developed by OceanX Education, the Portal allows visitors to explore deep-sea landscapes and encounter marine life as if they were aboard the state-of-the-art research vessel, OceanXplorer.

This exhibit marks an important milestone in CTC’s long-term collaboration with OceanX to expand ocean literacy and inspire a deeper understanding of our marine environment. 

Founded in 2016, OceanX is a nonprofit ocean exploration initiative that uses advanced technology to study the ocean and shares its discoveries through media, education, and scientific collaboration. In 2024, OceanX partnered with the Government of Indonesia to launch a joint mission to study the nation’s deep-sea ecosystems.

Now, through the OceanX Portal, audiences in Indonesia can experience the richness of the underwater world in a way that is both engaging and accessible. Visitors will have the opportunity to see the ocean from new perspectives and connect more deeply with the importance of ocean conservation.

The OceanX Portal will be available for a limited time at the CTC Center for Marine Conservation in Sanur, Bali, from 1 September to 31 October 2025. Entry is free and open to the public.
