On 15 November 2025, the fifth session of the Ocean Keeper Club program was held under the theme “Underwater City.” The session was attended by 68 students from elementary schools in Sanur, accompanied by teachers.
The session began with a storytelling activity led by Max and Mindy, who shared their learning experiences with CTC in Nusa Penida and Banda. Max talked about sustainable fishing practices in Banda, while Mindy shared stories about the underwater city in Nusa Penida. These important topics were delivered in an engaging and child-friendly way, making them easy for participants to understand.
The program continued with outdoor interactive activities, where participants learned about marine animals and their roles in the underwater city at the biodiversity wall. They also explored sustainable fishing practices using fish props at the Nautilus Pond. Through this session, participants were encouraged to understand the connection between a clean and healthy ocean and sustainable fisheries. Through Ocean Keeper Club, CTC shows its commitment to building environmental awareness from an early age and supporting the next generation in protecting and caring for the ocean.
