09 Apr Fun Learning with Empathy School

On March 27, CTC’s Center for Marine Conservation had the pleasure of hosting a bundled program of Fun Learning Class, Exhibition Tour, and Amazing Ocean Race for Empathy School’s students. There were 27 primary class students participated in the program: starting with the Fun Learning Class which taught them about different kinds of marine animals and their ecosystems. They continued with touring around the Center for Marine Conservation and paid a visit to our Exhibition Hall. The students displayed a great sense of enthusiasm and excitement upon seeing videos and pictures of mola, manta, sea turtle, and shark.

When asked about their favorite marine animal, most of them excitedly answered with sea turtles and sharks. The program concluded with the Amazing Ocean Race, a race which has five pit stops. The students were then divided into 4 teams, all have to solve a puzzle at each pit stop, and arrive at the last pit stop faster than the other to finish the final puzzle. At the end of the program, they all promised to protect the oceans!
