12 Mar Students Raise Funds to Support Marine Conservation

Miley and Maya, sixth grade students from Mentari Intercultural School Jakarta, recently organized a fundraising project called Kind.is.us. to support causes close to their hearts such as dog rescue and coral conservation. Together, they raised funds and will donate the funds to support CTC’s marine conservation programs in Bali.  They also visited our Center for Marine Conservation and tried out our Escape Rooms.

Their project is currently ongoing from January until April 2022.  They also made soap to give to the donors who supported their project. Through this charity event, the students hope that the donation would greatly help advance marine conservation efforts and raise people’s awareness in saving oceans.

Find out more about their fundraising project by following their Instagram account @kind.is.us and help share their wonderful mission.
