10 Jun Welcome Rahmat Soemardipradja, CTC’s New Board Member
CTC welcomed it’s newest board member, Rahmat Soemardipradja this month. Rahmat visited our Center for Marine Conservation, as well as our coral nursery in the Nusa Penida MPA. Rahmat has been practicing law for over 26 years and is a recognized leader in the Indonesian energy and natural resources sector. Rahmat’s main areas of practice include energy and natural resources, particularly mining, the environment, forestry, general corporate and investment, including regulatory and compliance, capital markets and project finance. Rahmat also has been assisting clients and industry players to understand the implications of the 2009 mining law and implementing regulations.
Rahmat is a licensed Advocate and a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI), the Indonesian Mining Association (IMA), the International Bar Association, the Inter-Pacific Bar Association, and the Australian Mining and Petroleum Law Association.
