01 Nov TV Stations Feature CTC’s Conservation and Art + Science Activities

Several TV stations have featured Coral Triangle Center’s conservation activities and the Center for Marine Conservation’s art and science programs from November-December 2018. In November, we hosted Kompas Dewata Bali and TVRI Bali Bureau to talk about the state of coral reefs in Indonesia, on-the-ground marine conservation efforts in Bali as well as innovative outreach activities. CTC’s Executive Director Rili Djohani provided vital information to our friends in the media which hopefully will educate and inspire more people about coral reefs, their importance and why we need to protect them. In December, Singapore’s Channel News Asia also interviewed CTC Executive Director Rili Djohani in collaboration with Avani Eco to talk about the impact of plastic waste on coral reefs and how we can do our part to protect it.
