25 Oct CTC Signs MOU with Bali Provincial Government

On 25 October 2018, the CTC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Bali Provincial Government, namely Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan. This renewed partnership will increase collaboration on marine conservation and marine protected area (MPA) management in the Nusa Penida MPA. The MOU covers a three-year period until 2021 and provides a framework for working together to ensure continued gains in the protection and management of the Nusa Penida MPA, specifically on the fisheries, endangered species, and marine tourism. Signing the agreement were CTC Executive Director Rili Djohani and Head of the Marine and Fisheries Department of Bali Province Ir. Made Gunaja. The witnesses were CTC’s Conservation Advisor Marthen Welly and DKP Kepala Bidang Made Sudarsana. The  MOU signifies CTC’s continual support and cooperation in MPA management and marine conservation within the Bali Province.
