08 Mar Coral Triangle Women Leaders Press for Progress in Marine Conservation on International Women’s Day

March 8, 2018 marked International Women’s Day urging women worldwide to Press for Progress. The day is about being willing to have your voice heard in support of sustaining the progress that has been made for gender equality and women empowerment.

To mark this day, CTC in collaboration with US Department of the Interior and Coral Triangle Initiative Regional Secretariat, shone the spotlight on women leaders in the Coral Triangle who are pressing for progress in marine conservation across the region, These women leaders are part of the CTI-CFF Women Leaders Forum Intergenerational Learning Program and are making strides in protecting our marine resources on the ground and empowering the next generation of women achievers!
