09 Nov CTC Conducts Annual Reef Health and Resource Use Monitoring in Banda Islands

CTC, in collaboration with the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries and the community conservation in Banda, conducted its annual reef health and resource use monitoring in the Banda Islands Marine Protected Areas Network on October 24-November 9, 2017

Apart from the monitoring, CTC also trained five community conservation team members from the Ay-Rhun Marine Protected Area on how to conduct scientific diving to enable them to monitor their reefs! Our science team is currently analyzing the data gathered from the survey and will share it with stakeholders in the coming months! Stay tuned!
