28 Dec Groundbreaking Ceremony Held for CTC Center for Marine Conservation
To cap off 2016, CTC held the groundbreaking ceremony for its Center for Marine Conservation located in Sanur, Bali. The center is envisioned to be a one-of-a-kind destination for training, education as well as artistic and cultural exhibits that bring to life the beauty of our oceans and what we can do to protect it.
Laying the first stone symbolically put a long held dream into reality. “Finally, I can envision our new marine conservation center with the boundaries of the facilities plotted on the new property. Visitor enjoying our exhibits, children enjoying the fun games in the large green space, divers being training in our pool,” said CTC Executive Director Rili Djohani.
Following the groundbreaking, construction of the facility’s first phase that includes the training center and the dive training pool will now proceed and will be completed by mid 2017.
