24 Jul Bali Sunfish, Wayang Samudra and More!

Credit Suisse and the Coral Triangle Center held a fund raising dinner with our Octopod members, supporters, and partners on July 23, 2016 at the Dharmawangsa Hotel in Jakarta. The evening event featured talks by CTC Executive Director Rili Djohani focused on CTC’s Center for Marine Conservation; Marianne Nyegaard of Murdoch University, Australia with the latest updates on her research with Sunfish (Mola) in Bali; and a Wayang Samudra (Ocean Puppets) performance by puppeteer Sih Agung Prasetya from the art community of Lima Gunung, Magelang. A great evening was had by everyone and we hope we will continue to inspire more supporters to join us in preserving Indonesia and the Coral Triangle’s rich marine biodiversity!
