14 Mar SOS from the Deep

On March 14-17, 2017, CTC hosted escape room designers Aram Leeuw and Frank Kastelein from the Netherlands for a workshop to further develop CTC’s Escape Room: “SOS from the Deep”. CTC staff joined the workshop to provided inputs to the escape room concept and design as well as the knots and bolts of the room construction.

The marine-conservation themed escape room, which is planned to be housed at the CTC Center for Marine Conservation in Sanur, Bali, is the first ever of its kind built in the world. CTC is developing the escape room as part of its sustainability efforts and to continue raising awareness on marine conservation issues innovative means and by using gamification as a strategy.
